Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Zetarium ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the Zetarium perpetual futures decentralised exchange (the "Platform"). This Policy applies to all visitors and users of the Platform.

The Platform is non-custodial in respect of on-chain funds; we do not hold your private keys. However, we do process certain information about your wallet, your trading activity, and your interaction with our infrastructure as described below.

Wallet & on-chain data

• Public wallet address and the signature you produce when authenticating;
• On-chain deposit and withdrawal transactions associated with your wallet (transaction hash, block, value);
• Sub-account identifiers we provision for you on our liquidity venue.

Trading data

• Orders (open, executed, canceled), positions, fills, fees, funding payments, and PnL;
• Leverage, margin mode, and other per-symbol configuration choices.

Technical data

• IP address, country/region inferred from IP, user-agent, browser, and operating system;
• Timestamps of API requests and WebSocket sessions, request paths, and response status codes;
• Device characteristics (screen size, language) sent via standard browser headers.

Optional contact data

If you contact our support team, we will receive any information you provide (email address, support ticket content). We do not collect KYC documents through the Platform itself unless you explicitly initiate a process that requires them.

We use the information we collect to:

• operate the Platform, match orders, settle PnL, and process deposits/withdrawals;
• maintain account security, detect fraud, and prevent abuse (rate limiting, anomaly detection);
• comply with applicable laws, including sanctions screening and recordkeeping obligations;
• provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
• analyse aggregated, non-personal usage patterns to improve the Platform;
• communicate operational notices (incidents, downtime, breaking changes).

We share information only as follows:

• Liquidity & infrastructure providers: our matching/liquidity partner receives the information necessary to execute and settle orders.
• Service providers: hosting (cloud), monitoring, analytics, and email-delivery vendors process information on our behalf under contract.
• Compliance & law enforcement: we may disclose information to comply with legal process (subpoena, court order, sanctions enforcement) or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the Platform, or third parties.
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to a continuation of equivalent privacy protections.

We do not sell personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We retain information for as long as necessary to operate the Platform and to comply with legal obligations (typically a minimum of five years for trading and transaction records). When retention is no longer required, we delete or aggregate the data so that it can no longer be associated with an individual.

The Platform uses browser localStorage and cookies to:

• persist your authentication session (JWT) and wallet connection state;
• remember your trading workspace layout and preferences (default leverage, margin mode);
• track unread notifications and dismissed banners.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may clear browser storage at any time, which will sign you out and reset preferences.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These include encrypted transport (TLS), short-lived JWTs, signed deposit/withdrawal authorisation, rate limiting, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for the security of your wallet, seed phrase, and the device or browser you use to access the Platform.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion or restriction of processing, subject to legal retention requirements;
• object to certain types of processing;
• request portability of information you have provided;
• withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Our infrastructure operates across multiple jurisdictions. Information we collect may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards (contractual clauses, equivalent-protection assessments) to protect international transfers.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have collected information from a minor in error, contact us immediately so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform with reasonable advance notice before they take effect.
